Opening the preliminary round of Vietnam Specialty Coffee Competition 2020

Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Trinh Duc Minh – Chairman of Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Association, Standing Deputy Chairman of the contest, Mr. Tran Dinh Trong – Vice Chairman of Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Association, chairman of branch special coffee association, together with members of the Secretariat and members of the jury of the preliminary round of Vietnam specialty coffee contest 2020.

The preliminary round took place from 1 – 4/3/2020 with 56 entries from 36 units, including 33 samples of Robusta and 23 samples of Arabica. Samples that score between 80/100 points according to SCA criteria will be selected to the final round. The final round will take place from 6 – 8/3/2020 at Biet Dien Hotel – Tp. Buon Ma Thuot – Dak Lak.

The results of the contest will be announced on the afternoon of 10/3/2020 at Saigon Ban Me Hotel – HCMC. Buon Ma Thuot. According to the morning plan on 10/3/2020 there is a Cupping session for roasters, buyers and contestants.
