Regarding re-pig herds, according to the Minister, up to now, there are 12 provinces and cities having a higher total pig herd than the same period before the outbreak; There are 20 provinces where the herd has increased over 80% after the end of the epidemic and only 10 provinces have the herd of less than 50%.

“All localities, businesses are focusing on re-herd” – the Minister affirmed and said: From March, April onwards the product of pig herd is very fast. Regarding pig prices, the Minister said that in December 2019, the highest price was over 95,000 VND / kg; By January 2020, it was reduced to VND 85,000 / kg; to February officially brought 75,000 VND / kg and the coming months continue down.

“Notice the current price in China is 120,000 VND / kg, Myanmar is currently 65,000 VND / kg, Cambodia is 62,000 VND / kg. Therefore, the price at 75,000 VND / kg and coming down again will be suitable. with the general situation and our situation “- The Minister affirmed.
