For the first time, Vietnamese coffee has done this

On the afternoon of 4-3, Mr. Nguyen Nam Hai, Chairman of Vietnam Coffee – Cocoa Association (Vicofa) informed that, in February – 2025, Vietnam exported 193,031 tons of coffee, export turnover of over 1.08 billion USD.

This is the first time the export of coffee has brought more than 1 billion USD in just 1 month.

This result is thanks to the highest export output from the beginning of the harvest, which is from October-2024 to the present when ranging from 50,000-155,000 tons/month and the price of coffee exports is very high, an average of US $ 5,596/ton (including processed coffee).

In the first 2 months of the year, Vietnam exported 343,331 tons of coffee, export turnover of more than 1.87 billion USD.

In particular, exported coffee reached 315,615 tons, turnover of over 1.65 billion USD, down 14.8% in volume but increased by 50% in turnover compared to the same period last year.

Coffee has been processed for exporting 27,716 tons (not yet converted into coffee), turnover of over 228.06 million USD, accounting for 12.1% of the total turnover of export coffee.

Particularly for Robusta coffee for export, in February the average unit price is 5.301 USD/month. In February, Robusta coffee on London – UK also recorded a record ever for $ 5,821/ton.

Coffee price today, recorded in the afternoon at VND 132,900/kg, an increase of VND 2,900/kg.

On London, at nearly 18 pm this afternoon, the price of Robusta coffee continues to fluctuate strongly when the most decrease is 52 USD/ton, to 5434 USD/ton and the highest increase is 79 USD/ton, to 5565 USD/ton.

The market will end the transaction tomorrow morning 5-3.
