Export Department import (Ministry of Industry and Trade) forecasts that in the last months of this year, Vietnam’s pepper export activities will not be favorable because domestic supply is not much and demand from China is still low.
It is expected that in early 2025, our country’s pepper exports will be favorable thanks to the expected strong increase in purchasing demand from the Chinese market.
Meanwhile, after Indonesia’s most recent harvest, until February 2025, the world pepper supply had not yet had a significant addition. This is said to be a favorable factor when Vietnam enters the new harvest season of 2025.

Even so, export turnover still reached 229.8 million USD, up 40.7% over the same period in 2023 and up 15.3% over the same period in 2022.
In the first 10 months of the year, the UAE rose to become the main export market of Brazilian pepper reaching 7,174 tons, an increase of 16.9% over the same period and accounting for 13.5% of the market share.
