Implementing the 2024 work plan approved by the Minister of Industry and Trade to carry out the task of propagating and disseminating free trade agreements (FTAs) that Vietnam has signed and come into effect, The Ministry of Industry and Trade, Department of Multilateral Trade Policy is expected to chair and coordinate with the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City to organize a seminar to introduce the commitments of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP). ) to raise awareness for local state management agencies as well as support the business community to exploit and take full advantage of the benefits this Agreement brings to agricultural products. Detailed information about the conference is as follows:

– Conference name: “The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) and opportunities to promote the export of Vietnamese agricultural products”.

– Time: Friday, October 25, 2024.

– Location: Kim Do Hotel, Royal Hotel Saigon, 133 Nguyen Hue, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, City. Ho Chi Minh.

– Expected ingredients: Representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade (Department of Multilateral Trade Policy, Department of Import and Export, Department of Trade Promotion), Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (SPS Vietnam Office), representative of the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho City Ho Chi Minh City and local departments, agencies and branches of some neighboring provinces/cities and representatives of industry and business associations.
