According to the survey, pepper price simultaneously increased by 500 VND/kg, recorded in the range of 70,500 – 73,500 VND/kg in domestic localities.
After price adjustment, pepper in Dong Nai and Gia Lai provinces is being purchased at the same price of 70,500 VND/kg.
Next are Dak Lak and Dak Nong provinces with the same price of 72,000 VND/kg.
Similar, Pepper price today in Ba Ria – Vung Tau and Binh Phuoc provinces were flat at 73,000 VND/kg and 73,500 VND/kg, respectively.

In India, the country’s pepper output is likely to recover in the 2023-2024 crop year thanks to favorable weather leading to better harvests in some of the country’s largest producing areas, Karnataka state and other provinces. In Karnataka state, farm gate pepper prices are 8-10% lower. Pepper production in Karnataka witnessed a 20% increase in the recent 2022-23 crop year to 36,000 tons compared to 30,000 tons a year ago.
