Currently, the cooperative has 3 households producing and processing green tea with over 1ha of tea for business; 4 households specialize in producing tea seeds with an area of about 3 hectares, over 8 million cuttings of tea varieties of all kinds such as: LDP1, 777, Bat Tien, Long Van, Phuc Tho… The products of the cooperative are highly appreciated by customers for their quality. Good quality, reasonable price.
Meeting us at the right time when choosing to buy seedlings in Ms. Tuyet’s garden, Mr. Nguyen Van Hanh, La Day hamlet, Hoang Nong commune, shared: Today, I came to buy a hybrid tea variety to plant to replace the old one. low productivity. I went to the nursery of Ms. Tuyet’s family to buy tea seeds for the 3rd time. I found that the seedlings here are very good, the survival rate is high and the price is reasonable.
With the strength of producing tea seeds, since its establishment until now, Thanh Dat Agricultural and Forestry Cooperative has provided the market in the districts of the province and many other provinces in the country with over 3.5 million cuttings of tea varieties of all kinds. . Cooperatives have been gradually showing their economic efficiency, creating more jobs for laborers. Particularly, Ms. Dinh Thi Tuyet’s family regularly hires 2 or 3 workers; In addition, depending on the time, the number of seasonal workers fluctuates between 25-30 people, with a fairly stable income.
Mrs. Doan Thi Nhuan, who has worked as a planter and planted tea seedlings for Thanh Dat Agricultural and Forestry Cooperative since its inception, said: “My age is now I can’t work far away, I have a job close to home. is suitable for health, I am very excited. On average, each working day, I receive 200,000 VND, enough for my family’s daily living.
At present, tea varieties of Thanh Dat Agricultural and Forestry Cooperative are sold at prices ranging from 700 VND to 1,000 VND per vote, supporting home delivery for households in need.
By boldly, proactively searching for consumption markets as well as promoting seedling products, catching up with sales trends on social networks, at present, Ms. Tuyet’s family has been together with other members. The cooperative expands the seedling market, increasing income for member households.
As one of the 7 members of the cooperative, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Binh, said: Since joining Thanh Dat Agricultural and Forestry Cooperative, my family and other members have often exchanged experiences on taking care of seedlings. so that the plants grow well and achieve good quality. In addition, Ms. Tuyet also provides technical support to members, introduces the market, promotes seedling products… Since then, we can sell more seedlings and earn more stable income.
Not only being dynamic and creative in economic development, Ms. Dinh Thi Tuyet is also an active woman member, always at the forefront of movements of the Commune Women’s Union. As a member of the Standing Committee of the Women’s Union of Hoang Nong Commune, she actively mobilizes members to build effective economic models; imparting production experience to women to contribute to poverty reduction, legitimate enrichment and building a strong association.
