According to the survey, the lowest price currently at 63,500 VND/kg was recorded in Gia Lai province, down 500 VND/kg. Next is Dong Nai province with the price of 64,000 VND/kg.

After the same reduction of 500 VND/kg, the purchasing price of pepper in the two provinces of Dak Lak and Dak Nong is currently maintained at 64,500 VND/kg.

Similarly, in Ba Ria – Vung Tau, pepper price also reduced by 500 VND/kg to 66,000 VND/kg respectively.

Meanwhile, Binh Phuoc continued to be stable with the price of 65,500 VND/kg.

According to the latest report of Export Department Import (Ministry of Industry and Trade)in the first 17 days of March 2023, the price of pepper export in the Vietnamese market remained stable, while the export prices of Indonesia and Brazil decreased.

Specifically as follows, surveyed on March 17 at Lampung ASTA port of Indonesia, the export price of black pepper decreased by 103 USD/ton compared to 28/2, to 3,497 USD/ton. Similarly, the export price of white pepper also decreased by 49 USD/ton compared to February 28, to 6,021 USD/ton.

At the same time of the survey, in Brazil, the export price of black pepper decreased by USD 50/ton compared to February 28, 2023, to USD 2,950/ton.

Meanwhile, at the port area of ​​Ho Chi Minh City of Vietnam, the export price of black pepper 500 g/l and 550 g/l on March 17 remained stable compared to February 28, recorded at the port of Ho Chi Minh City. received at 3,325 USD/ton and 3,375 USD/ton. In addition, the export price of white pepper was also stable compared to February 28, at $4,880/ton.
