ITC will review tax on shrimp from some Asian countries

The U.S. International Trade Commission will conduct a review under the Tariffs Act of 1930 to determine whether to revoke anti-dumping duties on frozen warmwater shrimp from the four countries or to continue with it. or there is a re-emergence of vulnerability to the industry in the near future. The date of the review has not been determined.
The US Department of Commerce has revoked an anti-dumping duty order on some Thai export companies because Thailand has reduced its exports to the US. Thailand’s frozen shrimp exports have declined over the past decade. Demand for Thai shrimp has increased strongly in the domestic market and in markets other than the US such as Japan and Europe.
