Specifically, on the basis of the results of the SCAROO Midterm Meeting held on April 21, 2022 in the online form related to the implementation of the new OCP ATIGA for certificates of origin form D issued since On May 1, 2022, the General Department of Customs guided the Customs Departments of provinces and cities on some C/O issues.
Regarding the form of C/O issued later, in case the C/O form D is issued after the export date, the C/O must be ticked in box 13 “Issued Retroactively” instead of after 3 days as before.
Remove the phrase “Preferential Treatment Given under ASEAN Industrial Cooperation Scheme” in box 4 and remove the instructions on AICO in line 1, line 2 on the back of the C/O.
Modify the 12th line on the back of the C/O from “Original CO (form D)” to “Original Proof(s) of Origin”.
Modify box 4 on the C/O from “Signature of Authorized Signatory of the Importing Country” to “Signature of Authorized Signatory of the Customs Authority of the Importing Country”.
C/O form D includes one original and two copies, removing the “carbon copy” regulation to accept C/O printed on A4 paper.
