According to the preliminary data report of the General Department of Vietnam Customs, pepper exports in December 2021 reached 15,049 tons, down 1,131 tons, ie down 6.90 percent from the previous month and down 5,393 tons, or down 26. .00% over the same period last year.

The export turnover in the month reached US$ 70.88 million, down US$ 5.04 million, or 6.64% lower than the previous month and up US$ 13.48 million, ie an increase of 23.49% over the same period. last year.

The cumulative export volume of pepper for the whole year of 2021 reached a total of 260,989 tons of pepper of all kinds, down 24,303 tons, or 8.52% lower than the whole export volume of 2020.

In terms of pepper export value for the whole year of 2021, a total of 937.85 million USD, an increase of 277.28 million USD, or 41.98% increase compared to the whole of 2020.

The average export price of pepper in December 2021 reached $4,710/ton, up 1.59% compared to the average export price of November 2021.
