Robusta coffee prices on the ICE Europe – London exchange increased. Futures for delivery in March increased by 8 USD, to 2,268 USD/ton and term for delivery in May increased by 5 USD, to 2,216 USD/ton, slight increases. Trading volume on average.
Similarly, the price of Arabica coffee on the ICE US floor – New York tended to increase slightly. Futures for March delivery were up 2.15 cents to 237.05 cents/lb and for May delivery was up 2.05 cents to 237.00 cents/lb, slight gains. Trading volume quite above average.
The price of green coffee beans in the Central Highlands provinces increased from 0 to 100 dong, to range from 40,300 to 40,700 dong/kg.

Robusta coffee prices on ICE Europe – London continue to increase. The March spot term increased by $14 to $2,282 per ton and the May delivery term increased by $17 to $2,233 per ton, very significant increases. Trading volume maintain on average.
Similarly, the price of Arabica coffee on the ICE US floor – New York has the same upward trend. Futures for delivery in March rose 3.80 cents to 240.85 cents/lb and futures for May delivery rose 3.65 cents to 240.65 cents/lb, very significant gains. Trading volume very high above average.
The price of green coffee beans in the Central Highlands provinces increased by 200-300 VND, to ranged in the range of 40,500 – 41,000 VND/kg.
Coffee futures prices increased sharply when there was more supply – demand support, with Emater – Minas Gerais’ forecast of total Brazilian output decreasing in 2022 very low compared to many other forecasts and FNC – Colombia reporting exports. Imports in December 2021 decreased by 21% over the same period last year.
Both exchanges still maintain the inverse price structure, which is a technical factor confirming that the uptrend is still there in the short term.
