Three enterprises are Phat Tai Co., Ltd; Thuan Minh Import-Export Joint Stock Company and Trung An Hi-tech Agriculture Joint Stock Company won two packages of 25,000 tons of rice and one package of 25,413 tons of rice, respectively. The General Department of Foreign Affairs assigned the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Southeast region to assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with Phat Tai Co., Ltd. to hand over 25,000 tons of rice. The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in the Southeast region coordinated with Trung An Hi-tech Agriculture Joint Stock Company to hand over nearly 3,000 tons of rice to Binh Duong province, at district centers, towns and provincial cities, according to the allocation plan. The General Department of Foreign Affairs proposed that the People’s Committees of the 9 provinces and cities above soon plan to allocate and receive rice for the beneficiaries of rice support, ensuring the correct norm as prescribed; at the same time, the People’s Committees of the provinces need to direct the departments, agencies and sectors to coordinate with the Departments of Foreign Affairs in the above areas in delivering and receiving rice to support people facing difficulties due to the COVID-19 epidemic.
