According to the assessment of the Vietnam Pepper Association, by the end of September 2009, Vietnam has exported more than 104,000 tons of pepper, while our country’s 2009 pepper output is only about 105,000 tons, ie at present. Vietnam has less than 1,000 tons of pepper. Vietnam’s pepper exports have increased sharply in recent years due to many reasons:
First of all, the main pepper growing countries in the World Pepper Organization (IPC) have decreased output compared to last year, while Vietnam’s pepper output has increased, so pepper prices in Vietnam are always at the best level for consumers. importers. Normally, the export price of Vietnam is always lower from 300-500 USD/ton. Businesses are easy to offer to partners and foreign importers also import goods to reserve for demand in the year.
Next, Vietnamese enterprises export pepper by the method of quick purchase and short sale for quick capital turnover. There are also some other reasons such as pepper from Indonesia being imported to Vietnam and then exported to a third country…
