The average export price of Vietnamese pepper this year is $5,114 per tonne of black pepper and $7,442 per ton of white pepper.
According to information from the Vietnam Pepper Association, in July alone, the whole country exported 20,000 tons of pepper. Volume was down year-on-year, but revenue was $421 million higher than the same period last year. Accumulating 7 months, Vietnam exported 82,000 tons of pepper, earning 446 million USD.
Pepper output this year is estimated at about 100,000 tons, of which 82,000 tons have been exported, the export rate decreased by 10% compared to last year.

In the domestic market, as of the end of last week, the price of pepper was about 111,000 VND/kg, especially in Dong Nai province, the price was up to 115,000 VND/kg.
Vietnam currently accounts for about 50% of total pepper exports globally.
