Regarding the export price, the average rubber export price of Vietnam in July 2020 was at $ 1,209 / ton, up 1.6% from June 2020, but down 13.4% compared to July / 2019.
China is the largest rubber export market of Vietnam in July 2020, reaching 169,710 tons, worth $ 203.57 million, up 55.7% in volume and 59% in value compared to the month. 6/2020; compared with July 2019, it increases 52.4% in volume and 33% in value.
Generally in the first 7 months of 2020, rubber exports to China reached 509,000 tons, worth $ 638.65 million, up 2.3% in volume, but down 5.5% in value over the same period in 2019. .
According to the Import and Export Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade), in the first 7 months of 2020, despite the impact of COVID-19 epidemic, rubber exports to some markets still achieved growth compared to the same period in 2019. as: Pakistan, Argentina, Czech Republic …, but these markets only account for a small proportion of Vietnam’s rubber exports.
